Pins exist in the form of an icon that appears on the top-left corner of player cards.
Pins are obtainable in a few different ways, which include the following:
1) Find the pin's hidden location on the island. Generally, every couple weeks or so, a new pin (or multiple pins) will be hidden around the island. To obtain that pin, one must find where it is located and either click on or waddle over to the pin to collect it. Sometimes a pin will require you to do a bit more work to uncover, but we will leave that up to you penguins to discover.
2) Donate to a charity during certain events. Pins may also be distributed as a reward for contributing to donating to a charitable cause during certain events.
3) Contributing to the Penguin Art Wall located in the Book Room. If you submit your own artwork to us, and we decide to display it in the Book Room, you will receive a special pin for your contribution.
4) Place in the top 3 of an Igloo Contest. If you are able to place top 3 in an Igloo Contest that we host, you will receive a special animated pin for your efforts.
5) Purchase Flags in the Penguin Style catalog. Flag pins are made available in each release of the Penguin Style catalog. They are located toward the back of each respective Penguin Style catalog and are purchasable for 20 coins each.
